Report on monitoring of Endosulfan residues in the 11 panchayaths of Kasaragod district, Kerala-2011
This report is prepared by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment Sasthra Bhavan, Thiruvanathapuram. The study focuses introduction of aerial spraying of endosulfan, a persistent neurotoxin and endocrine-disrupting pesticide used to combat tea mosquitoes in cashew plantations, prompted the need for this study. The consequences of this practice include reported instances of inexplicable human suffering, loss of life, near eradication of biodiversity, and severe ecological damage in the affected area. Epidemiological school based study on the health status of adolescents in areas exposed to endosulfan spraying in Kasaragod district, Kerala.

Report emphasizes the morbidity status among adolescents from schools in areas exposed to endosulfan spraying and in a comparison area and also to assess the pattern of growth and development among these adolescents. Health hazards of aerial spraying of Endosulfan in Kasaragod district, Kerala-2003
This report prepared by expert committee, Government of Kerala. The report focuses on the prolonged aerial spraying of Endosulphan in Cashew Plantations owned by the Plantation Corporation of Kerala in Kasaragod for the past 24 years. Various committees, including those from Kerala Agricultural University, the government, the National Institute of Occupational Health, and the NGO Thanal, investigated the matter.
